The RM Management Team, along with our Sub-Groups, have been exceptionally busy again this past couple of months, and all are pretty much on target for where we said we wanted to be come Christmas.
Followers of our campaign are aware that it was our intention to produce a Self-Regulatory Framework at the Nursery World Show NannyHub in London in February. Sadly, due to Covid-19, the show has been cancelled. This does, however, provide us with more time to get our framework right.
Communication with the Secretary of State
Communication with Viky Ford is still ongoing and we hope to release more information in the New Year.
RM appointed our very first Honorary Patron
Last month we announced the appointment of the highly respected Dr Janet Rose to the post of Campaign Patron. We were delighted when Janet accepted our invitation and we've been thrilled by the response to our news. Thank you for all your supportive messages.
Janet brings a wealth of experience to the post and has already started working with us. Janet has provided us with the following Christmas message:
"After such an unexpected and challenging year, everyone at Regulation Matters wishes you all a well-deserved restful and happy time over the festive season. Despite the difficulties we’ve all had to face, there are some glimmers of hope to look forward to next year and we can all feel reassured knowing that, no matter what the circumstances, nannies can still go out to work doing the job they love and helping their charges to grow, learn and thrive".
Merry Christmas & all the very best in 2021
The RM Management Team would like to wish all our supporters, followers, and friends, a very Happy Christmas. We hope that whatever the Covid restrictions, you will have a healthy and peaceful time.
If you are not already following us on social media please do. We try to post most weeks and it's proving to be a quick and easy way to keep everyone abreast of what we are doing and what we aim to achieve.
Also, please do publicise your support of the RM campaign on your own social media platforms. With your help, we know we can succeed.
